That Hat (and Other Things) is a photographic exhibition by Robin Vallance, an amateur photographer and former BBC camera operative. The exhibition ran in Atkins Gallery 17th October until Friday 11th November 2022 and the following images are highlights from the exhibition.
The exhibition featured photos taken in both colour and monochrome and had four themes:
That Hat, a series of photographs of Robin’s partner who wears a particular hat whenever they go on holiday. The emphasis of the photographs is on composition and beauty.
Staircases, which celebrates the attraction of a series of steps and the mystery they convey.
Colour, a series of photographs which focus on the pleasure of bright surfaces.
Faces, an uncompromising group of portraits previously shown at the Rugby Art Gallery and Museum.
